Amity Blight
Amity Blight is a character from the 2020 DTVA series The Owl House created by Dana Terrace. Initially introduced as an antagonist, Amity is a student of Hexside Academy who takes pride in her prodigious magical abilities and her status as the "top student", and looks down on other students beneath her. However, her arrogant attitude changes after she meets the protagonist Luz, and eventually develops romantic feelings for her. According to the show's creator, Amity is intended to be a lesbian, and her romantic relationship with Luz is one of the main draws of the series.
Tournament History[edit]
Of course, since this wiki is about 4chan tournaments, dykes are generally not tolerated on the board, and Amity's performance in Ms. /co/ tournaments reflects this. In her first appearance on 2020 (coinciding with her show's debut), she became the first victim of Dr. Mrs. The Monarch's crushing tournament performance. Notable shenanigans ensued in that year's Mr. /co/lympus a month later as Amity persistently stalked Jackie Lynn Thomas throughout the tournament, eventually capturing her in a forced arranged marriage. This crack ship, known as "Jamity", was later entered on the 2020 Tag-Team contest, but the duo were immediately arrested by the Men in Black for undisclosed reasons.
In Ms. /co/ 2021, Amity was seeded 86th with 89 votes in the qualifiers, coincidentally sharing the same number of votes with Jackie. Even though the show's season 2 was broadcast earlier that year, which saw Amity's relationship with Luz being upgraded to girlfriends, she was blown out of the first round by /mu/ girl Noodle.
Since then she has failed to qualify for any succeeding years despite the efforts of and surprisingly fell behind Luz who qualified in 2023; both failed to qualify in 2022. Nothing else of note happened with Amity beyond a round 2 Heroes of /co/ performance in 2023, in which she made an amusing win over the Nostalgia Critic.
