Velma Dinkley

Velma Dinkley is one of the main characters of the Scooby-Doo animated media franchise.

Tournament History

She at first established herself as a strong competitor in Ms. /co/ tournaments. Velma first appeared in 2018 where she lost in the fourth round to future runner-up Starfire, and then made the Elite Eight in 2019 where she was eliminated by eventual champion Spinel and eventually placed 5th overall.

Returning in Ms. /co/ 2021, from this point on she has seen largely midcard results comparable to her fandom rival Daphne, being defeated in this year the second round by dark horse candidate Karen. In 2022 she was defeated in the second round by Creepy Susie, and yet again being defeated in the second round by eventual champion Wuya in 2023; interestingly Velma was among Wuya's closest matches, very nearly defeating her. It has been speculated that the 2023 Velma TV series has hampered Velma's chances by leaving a poor taste in the mouths of the voterbase due to its extremely poor reception, especially among denizens of 4chan. A small improvement came in Ms. /co/ 2024 where she made it to the third round before being defeated by Tinker Bell; Velma also became notable for having a Scooby-Doo match in the first round against Phantasma.
