Azula
Azula is a major antagonist from Nickelodeon's animated TV series Avatar: The Last Airbender. She has been a widely liked character throughout the years on /co/ for her sympathetic story, attractiveness, yandere-esque madness, and of course for the acclaim of her series.
Tournament History[edit]
Despite not appearing in the first Ms. /co/ntest, Azula immediately proved herself as a contestant worthy of elite status through her impressive debut performance in 2019. There, she grabbed the fifth seed and went all the way to the quarterfinals, where she narrowly lost in a Grey DeLisle match-up against Frankie Foster and finished 6th overall.Azula returned in the 2021 Ms. /co/ with great anticipation. She was associated with the heavy hitter meme "Team F. A. R. T. S." and came in with high expectations. Unfortunately, those expectations were dashed when she lost in round two to Sara Bellum, the years eventual 4th place.
Azula's 2022 appearance saw her with an 8th seed, as well as a round 1 stomp against May Kanker. She would narrowly defeat the Vivziepop pick Charlie Morningstar before being defeated in round 3 by Tigress.
In 2023 Azula once again scored a top 10 seed at #9 in the qualifiers. She would face off against Anne Boonchuy in a very heated first round with supporters and fanart for both picks, with Azula ultimately coming out on top by 25 votes. She'd succeed in another relatively close match against fellow former Elite Eight member Helen Parr, but was defeated in round 3 by the well supported underdog Tinker Bell.
