Bugs Bunny is the main character of the Looney Tunes franchise. Known for his quick wits and sarcastic humor, Bugs quickly became one of the most known and frequently used characters of all time, and also being often identified as the mascot for Warner Brothers as a whole. As such, Bugs has traditionally performed very well in the Mr. /co/lympus tournaments, having participated in every edition he has been eligible for. In terms of lore, Bugs is often associated with fellow Looney Tunes character Daffy Duck, often bantering over tournament success and popularity.

On occasion, Bugs will crossdress and attempt to enter the Ms. /co/ competitions. He has had less success doing this; despite coming close, he has never managed to make it into the bracket of 128.

Tournament History Edit

As one of the original participants of the inaugural Mr. /co/lymous 2018, Bugs managed a top 10 ranking as the 9th seed, and made it to the Round of 16 before losing to the eventual semi-finalist J. Jonah Jameson.

In 2019, Bugs dipped to a 15th seed, and after three rounds of swift victories, with only some competition from Zuko in Round 3, Bugs faced off against Invader Zim in one of the most notable matches of the tournament. Entitled "The Trap-Off", the round was noted for quick-paced banter and crossdressing images. Bugs won the round to make the first Elite Eight appearance from a golden age cartoon character in any tournament, but would lose the next round to Courage, gaining an eventually 6th place finish.

Bugs would be seen once again in the 2021 tourney after taking a break from his position in the Elite Eight, this time taking the 18th seed. Much like in 2018, however, Bugs would lose to Jameson again, in a very decided rematch of 19 votes difference. Bugs would start his 2022 campaign with a career high 8th seed, placing one seed higher then his inaugural result in 2018. Unfortunately for the lucky rabbit, given the new use of randomized bracket for round one over the seed-based ones from previous tournaments, this didn't prove to be an advantage for his run. Bugs was matched against the notorious Monarch, and while he pulled off a solid win, he would lose the next round to Shrek, likely stemming from a smear campaign against him pushed during the previous round involving a falseflagger framing him as a tranny character.

What effect that falseflag had in 2022 did not carry over to the 2023 tournament. As a 13th seed, Bugs had very convincing beatings of Calvin, Big Jack Horner, and 8th seed Ed en route to his first sweet 16 appearance since 2019. While thought to be a potential finalist contender this year, Bugs would fall to Lord Farquaad by 9 votes in round 4 to miss out on another Elite 8 showing, notably the second Shrek character he has lost to in two years. This tournament was also known for having the most hornyposting regarding the character since 2019's trap-off.

Bugs has also appeared in most Tag-Team Tournaments to date. In the Tag-Team Tournament 2019 he teamed up with Mickey Mouse as part of the Golden-Age All Stars. This team made it to the round of 16 before being eliminated by the Samurai Jack and Johnny Bravo team. In 2020, Bugs teamed up with his occasional rival, best friend and bantering partner Daffy Duck as part of Duck Season, Rabbit Season. Despite discussion of them being strong contenders to be champions, the duo was eventually kicked out in round 3 by Spongebob and Patrick.

Bugs will next be eligible for a Mr. /co/lympus tournament in 2024.
