Zoidberg
Zoidberg is a character from Futurama. Known for his unconditional kindness to others, questionable understanding of human biology despite his role as a doctor, and proficiency for eating nearly anything, Zoidberg is often looked down upon by others included the rest of his crew. His eccentric personality and punching bag nature have made him a fan favorite character from his show. As a result, he's had a couple tournament runs on /co/.
Tournament History
[edit | edit source]Zoidberg was a contestant in Mr. /co/lympus 2020. He was the 103rd seed in the bracket, but lost Round 1 in a blowout against fellow Futurama character Bender. Before the tournament started, he attempted to befriend the Ape Shaman so he could borrow some fish, but when Spear threw the Ape Shaman off a cliff, Zoidberg got mad and tried to tango with the caveman. Also, at one point, he nearly got eaten by Chris McLean.
After not qualifying in 2021, Zoidberg appeared again in Mr. /co/lympus 2022, but lost once again in Round 1 to Max. He once again would not qualify in 2023, but attention was brought back to him when he wasn't even nominated for Mr. /co/lympus 2024. Anons paired him up with Rango in this regard and questioned how no one even posted either character during the 24 hour nomination round.
