Eddy
Eddy is one of the three titular main characters of the Cartoon Network series Ed, Edd n Eddy, and arguably the main character of the entire show. Most episodes revolve around Eddy's insatiable greed as he tirelessly works to scam the other kids in the Cul-De-Sac out of their quarters to buy jawbreakers. Other episodes revolve around Eddy's power-hungry and egotistical nature, such as the one where he attempted to win a men's popularity contest on a Chinese basket-weaving forum.
Due to Ed, Edd n Eddy being a generally beloved series on /co/, Eddy tends to have good support in the threads.
Tournament History[edit]
Edyy made his first appearance in Mr. /co/lympus 2019 with a seed of 44, defeating Xavier in Round 1 and Dib Membrane in Round 2 before being knocked out by General Grevious in Round 3. In 2020, he returned with a more impressive seed of 10, managing to scam /co/ out of enough votes to defeat Doug Dimmadome in Round 1, Robotnik in Round 2, and Fred in Round 3 before being defeated by Wallace in Round 4, who whould eventually make it to Semi-finals and place as 3rd.
In Mr. /co/lympus 2021, Eddy was cucked out of a bracket appearance by joke candidate Plank due to the 3-character series limit. Because of this, he could not join his best bros Double D and Ed, who had more qualifying votes than him.
Luckily for Eddy he was not overshadowed by Plank in 2022. In a back-to-back faceoff against former Elite Eight members, Eddy was pit against Kuzco in round 1 and Grim in round 2. He was able to succeed against the former, but fell short against the latter and was eliminated.
In 2023 Eddy would enter as seed 5, with EEnE fans hyping his chances for the year; that is until his round 1 matchup was revealed to be against Elite Eight staple and fan favorite Hank Hill. After receiving an ass kicking by Hank, Eddy was eliminated, causing some to remark on his tendency to experience bad bracket luck.
Eddy returned in Mr. /co/lympus 2024 with a larger backing and once again as the 5th seed. The return of seeded brackets served him well as he easily defeated newcomer Soundwave, and for the second round he was depicted pulling various scams on his opponent Scar, such as baiting the Lion King antagonist into a box trap using a meat slab. Somehow this ended in victory for Eddy. He moved on to the third round, where he was granted a lifetime supply of jawbreakers by Genie as well as a round three victory. Around his round 4 match against Squidward, Eddy was depicted in posts under his "CHADdy, Emperor of /co/ and the Cul-De-Sac" persona, stemming from a popular copypasta on /co/ depicting Eddy dominating various DTVA characters. Despite much hype for an Ed boy to finally enter the Elite Eight, Eddy was humbled by Squidward, missing a mere four votes needed for victory.
