Tohru Adachi

Tohru Adachi is a character from Atlus's 2008 roleplaying game Persona 4 and its associated titles. He appears as a lazy and somewhat bumbling detective who occasionally leaks information to the main characters related to their murder investigations; in the remake Persona 4 Golden the player can befriend him through a new social link.

Despite this he later takes on an antagonistic role where he reveals his "based and redpilled" views on how society is shit and women are bitches, causing him to garner a "literally me" appeal among anons on 4chan.

Tournament History[edit]

Adachi first appeared in King of /v/ 2020, scoring the coveted 69th seed but losing the first round to the Cacodemon.

In King of /v/ 2021 Adachi became a member of "Team Pure Anger and Hatred", one of that year's many alliances. He emerged victorious in a round 1 battle against Waluigi before facing off against Doomguy in round 2, however no amount of support from his fans and promises of fresh cabbages for voters could stop him from being ripped and torn out of the tournament once again by a DOOM character.

Adachi just barely managed to secure a spot in the main bracket in 2022 with the 128th seed, but nonetheless was able to defeat Jevil in the first round and crush his dreams of securing imp pussy. He then fought Albert Wesker in round 2, but in a cruel twist of irony was turned into a bitch by Wesker and was defeated.

In 2023 Adachi had another close call in qualifying with a 118 seed, and similarly won a close match against CJ in round 1, however he again lost the second round after being pinned as the true culprit by Detective Raiden.
