Christopher Robin
"Silly Old Bear... If the harbinger of spring is the sound of a bat on a ball, then I have become the harbinger of winter; a barren and desolate spot your bat will never hit. As my ball strikes the padded glove with the disgruntled furl of thirty thousand fans trudging out of the arena, watching as you throw down your bat in disgust and mourn what you'll never be, know this: you will never defeat me, Pooh Bear. Not as long as you or I will live." |

Christopher Robin is a fictional character from A.A. Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh franchise. Named after the author's only son, Christopher Robin is typically portrayed as a cheerful, imaginative, and curious young boy who lives in the Hundred Acre Wood with his animal friends.
In the internet however, Christopher Robin is more (in)famous for his role as the final boss in the Japanese online Flash game Winnie the Pooh's Home Run Derby, in which users depicted him as a demonic, malevolent, and all-powerful pitcher god. Despite its simplistic gameplay and cartoonish graphics, Christopher Robin represents the culmination of the game's surprisingly unfair and brutal difficulty as he utilizes all three pitching techniques from Pooh's last three previous opponents: Rabbit's accelerating bullet-like pitches, Owl's zigzagging balls, and Tigger's invisible throws. To top it all off, he demands Pooh to hit 40 out of his 50 physics-defying pitches, making it less of a casual game between two friends and more of an arduous struggle against the literal evil god of baseball incarnate.
Tournament History[edit]
Though Christopher Robin is eligible to enter a Mr. /co/lympus tournament, he has yet to qualify for one.
In King of /v/ however, he has had a much more notable presence. Having been listed as one of the characters to be added into the /v/ tournament whitelist in the Queen of /v/ 2022 finals due to his notorious reputation on /v/ from Winnie the Pooh's Home Run Derby, he was narrowly voted to be added with 634 voting yes and 604 no. This manifested in his appearance in the King of /v/ 2022, where he seeded 58th.
Though his King of /v/ appearance is specifically that of his Home Run Derby incarnation, he nonetheless became a controversial candidate due to still originating from /co/ either way. Nonetheless he was able to score a round 1 victory against Earthworm Jim, and in round 2 he threw Portal's Wheatley straight out of the tournament. In round 3 he saw a hyped up and OC heavy match against Battler, which he barely won by 9 votes. However much of the hype from his fight against Battler dissipated during his round 4 match, and he was blocked from entering the Elite Eight by Luigi.
As he was once again confirmed into the whitelist in the 2022 finals poll, with a larger majority voting for Yes this time, Christopher Robin was able to enter King of /v/ 2023. However in Round 1 he was quickly gunned down by Charles's gang before he could ready his first ball, and exited the main bracket without having gotten the chance to do much.
