Senator Armstrong
Senator Steven Armstrong is the main antagonist of the 2013 video game Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
An American senator and USA presidential candidate who serves as the final boss, Armstrong became one of the game's most popular characters because of his fight with player character Raiden, which gained great popularity online for extremely memetic speeches and moments, and for its political message that remains relevant to this day. He is widely considered by fans to be the "most based politician of all time" for his strongly memorable traits, like his ardent American patriotism, commitment to his own goals and beliefs, and for being a tough-ass motherfucker to kill.
Tournament History[edit]
The Senator was voted the winner of 4chan's first King of /v/ tournament in 2019. Fueled by the power of memes, nanomachines voting machines, and sheer patriotism, Armstrong dominated the entire tournament from start to finish. His victims include two humanoid robots, a "pink little shit", a dense motherfucker, a Russian, a "limp-dick lawyer", and a demon-slaying space marine. Due to his inaugural victory, he is banned from participating in future King of /v/ tournaments. Still, his legacy as the original King will live on.

Raiden: What?
Senator Armstrong: That one day, every person in this nation will control their own destiny. A land of the TRULY free, dammit.
Senator Armstrong: A nation of ACTION, not words; ruled by STRENGTH, not committee! Where the law changes to suit the individual, NOT the other way around.
Senator Armstrong: Where power and justice are back where they belong, in the hands of the PEOPLE!

Senator Armstrong: Where every man is free... to think... to act... for HIMSELF! Fuck all these limp-dick lawyers and chicken-shit bureaucrats. Fuck this 24/7 Internet spew of trivia and celebrity bullshit! Fuck American pride. Fuck the MEDIA! FUCK ALL OF IT!!!
Senator Armstrong: America is diseased. Rotten to the core. There's no saving it. We need to pull it out by the roots. Wipe the slate clean. BURN IT DOWN!
Senator Armstrong: And from the ashes a new America will be BORN! Evolved, but UNTAMED!
Senator Armstrong: The weak will be purged, and the strongest will thrive, free to live as they see fit; they'll make America GREAT AGAIN!!!
Raiden: What the hell are you.. talking about...
Senator Armstrong: You still don't get it. I'm using war as a business to get ELECTED! So I can END war as a business.
Senator Armstrong: In my new America, people will die, and kill, for what they BELIEVE! Not for money, not for OIL! Not for what they're told is right. Every man will be free to fight his OWN WARS!
