Travis Touchdown is the protagonist of the No More Heroes series.

An otaku living in a motel room, he becomes an assassin after buying a beam katana on the internet and hopes that by becoming the #1 ranked assassin in the United Assassins Association, he can have sex with the CEO, Sylvia Christel.

Tournament History

With Travis' games being a cult hit on /v/, it makes sense that he would see showings in King of /v/. He appeared in the first edition in 2019, winning matches against Kain and Arthas before losing to the Scout.

Travis came back in 2020, and made a name for himself due to very strong support from his fans, allowing him to take out popular characters like the Soldier and JC Denton, before narrowly losing to the eventual winner, Dante. In the 3rd place consolation match, he beat Dante's brother Vergil, placing 3rd.

After sitting 2021 out, Travis returned for 2022, with his fans showing strong support again, with one in particular cosplaying him during his match against King K. Rool. In the quarter-finals, Travis had a rematch with JC Denton, which he surprisingly lost. In the 5th-8th place consolation match, he placed 5th, pairing him up with Ashley from WarioWare, which many deemed a perfect crackship.

Travis' return in the 2024 tournament had his supporters in high hopes once again. However, his run was cut short after losing to AM in Round 3. Failing to reach that year's Elite 8 left many of his fans disappointed. Others lamented that Travis wasn't able to face JC Denton in a match that would've broken their 1-1 rivalry. Worse still, JC reaching the Finals made a 3rd match impossible until 2026.

For 2025, Travis supporters got a head start in campaigning, with a series of GMod posts beginning Queen's afterparty, depicting the Otaku Assassin being hired by Etna to assassinate the recently crowned Tron Bonne. This series continued into the proper King tournament, as well a different series of OC and supportive posters. His first round against Big Boss went mostly under the radar, fittingly enough. For Round 2 and Round 3, against John Ward and Conker respectively, the OC produced and general amicable attitude from both sides led to well received rounds. The journey came to end in Round 4, when Travis went up against the 2nd seeded character, Doomguy, in a bout he lost by nearly 51%. This loss brought much ire from some posters, as Doomguy, unlike most years, had little campaigning and subdued thread presence, especially when compared to Travis. While Travis failed his mission, as well as failing to reap the rewards promised by Etna, he did find some comradery as the threads speculated a hypothetical boy band comprising of him, Vergil, Gene, Demi-fiend, and Leon.

Travis will be eligible to compete in King of /v/ 2026.
