Charles (Mafia City)
The Boss or how /v/ likes to call him, Charles, is the leader of a mafia gang in the Mafia City and he is a very notorious character for its misleading but very entertaining and funny advertisements for the game (which has ZERO of the contents shown in ads).
Charles or the Boss was a massive meme around the internet by 2019 and 2020. In /v/ he's frequently brought up alongside his rival, Frank, on who to choose when they offer the option of joining and /v/ treats it as if it is a serious question.
Tournament History Edit
Charles has to be one of the most prolific and most entertaining characters to have ever been able to qualify for King of /v/. Despite being considered a meme character and not to be taken seriously, campaigns for Charles have been sincere and one of the most fan-favored in the entire tourney for their charming and yet hilarious nature.
Charles made his debut in King of /v/ 2020 where he also went to have his highest seed to date at 21st seed. He was matched with what was considered at the time an equal memey character, the Dog from Silent Hill which was considered to be a joke pick. At that time the same sentiment was shared for Charles and people preferred the Dog over the mafia boss and thus, Charles succumbed in the first round to the puppy. This wasn't the end for the mafia boss although, as in the next year we'd see his main highlight in the entire tournament history.
In King of /v/ 2021, Charles qualified with seed 90th which was a massive drop but at the same time he'd see this as the year he shined the most. Before the rounds even started, a notorious avatarfag which was known to campaign and roleplay as Karl Heisenberg disguised himself as Charles which made for a really interesting plot-thread in the whole autism-fest that followed that year, this also meant Charles was effectively the leader of the Daddy Alliance on top of being the leader of the mafia. This saw the biggest amount of support for Charles to ever be seen as he slowly gained popularity and followers with his interesting antics and hilarious adverts. His first opponent was 
Roland, who was canonically employed by someone named Charles which was a welcomed coincidence as Roland ended up jobbing and joining in Charles gang. Charles next opponent was the very infamous 
Alucard from Castlevania which was and still is considered a very powerful contender with a solid supporting behind him but alas, he was beaten by a hair-thin difference by the notorious Charles and his goons. Next in line would be the high seed and highly regarded by many, 
Solaire who was the 7th seed that year but also was beaten by Charles in a fair duel. In the end, Charles seemingly went on a winning spree and he was seeming unstoppable with his campaign being met with a lot of notoriety but also being well-regarded and loved. But Charles finally met his match, and that was the silent behemoth that is the 
Heavy Weapons Guy from Team Fortress 2. He went on to lose to him despite the hard and excruciating fight Charlesbros and Mafia goons put up.
