Emperor of /his/ 2023 was the first "tourney autism" event held in 4chan's /his/tory and Humanities board. It was hosted by ANEgroid !!t6VCbprTeBK and ran from 2023 September 08 to 15. Since /his/ is a slow board, the bracket consisted of 64 entrants instead of 128, and all genders are allowed.

Alexander III of Macedon, one of the greatest military generals of all time, was voted the first Emperor of /his/ after beating Christianity's central figure Jesus in the final by a score of 26-25. 18th century French general Napoleon Bonaparte won the Bronze Medal over the ancient Mesopotamian epic character Gilgamesh. The remaining top 8 finishers consisted of a Communist Yugoslavian Prime Minister, the Roman Empire founder, the Mongol Empire founder, and then God Himself.

In the after-tournament poll, ANEgroid decided to NOT ban this year's Elite Eight contestants for a potential second tournament; the actual result was 26-25 in favour of not excluding, but the votes for exclusion were equally split — 13 votes to ban top 8 and 12 votes to ban top 4.

Rules

ANEgroid intended for this event to be a chill one, so they relaxed the nomination rules.

• Nominee must be a figure that has been mentioned in a historical context. Whether they were actually real or not doesn't matter, so religious / mythological / legendary figures are allowed. Or in one case, even Bill & Ted.
• Only the first 64 nominees shall qualify straight to the main bracket. No images required, no replies needed, and no qualifying rounds.
• Females allowed
• >This tournament expects you to rig as hard as possible like a true warlord! You don't elect emperors anon.
