Coraline Jones
Coraline Jones is the titular protagonist of the 2009 stop-motion film Coraline, adapted from Neil Gaiman's novella of the same name.
Coraline is best known as the leading female stop-motion representative in the Ms. /co/ntests, garnering a strong but relatively quiet support among its voters. She has made two Ms. /co/ two appearances to date, starting with a 19th seeded berth in the 2019 edition where she reached the third round, only to be soundly beaten by Avatar fan-favorite Ty Lee.
Coraline returned in the 2020 edition as a 25th seed, destroying the fallen Star Butterfly in round 1. She then defeated low seeds Roxanne and Sara Bellum to reach the Sweet 16, where her run ended at the hands of powerhouse Starfire.
