Daffy Duck is a character from Looney Tunes franchise. Appearing in many notable shorts, Daffy eventually became the second main Looney Tunes character and one of the most famous characters worldwide. That popularity extended to being a central focus in many of the subsequent adaptions of the franchise in the suceeding decades, including being the main star of the Duck Dodgers television series and a main character in countless more.
Daffy's most successful run in the Mr. /co/lympus tournaments was a 2nd place finish in Mr. /co/lympus 2020. Before this, Daffy's underachieving nature was seen as a notable and unusual result, despite qualifying for every tournament with often high seeds. In the inaugural tournament, Daffy only progressed to the second round before being upset by Bender by 2 votes. Similarly, despite a career high 4th seed in Mr. /co/lympus 2019, he made it to the third round before being eliminated by Joker.
However, it would be Mr. /co/lympus 2020 in which Daffy finally made it far. With a 33rd seed, Daffy was lower seeded then usual. After two swift round victories, Daffy's low seed pitted him off against top seeded Samurai Jack, considered the tournament favorite. Despite what looked like another certain loss, one of the tournament's most famous results had Daffy defeat Jack by 1 vote. With that momentum, Daffy steamrolled his competitors en route to the finals, where he himself would be upset by tournament champion Tom. This paired him in second place with fellow Duck Dodgers character Queen Tyr'ahnee, confirming hot rape.
In terms of lore, Daffy is often associated with fellow Looney Tunes character Bugs Bunny, often bantering over tournament success and popularity, and Disney character Donald Duck, whose possible matchup in the tournament has become one of the tournament's most fabled potential meetups.
Daffy will next be eligible for a Mr. /co/lympus tournament in 2022.
