The contest was won by 46th seed [[Tom Cat]] from ''Tom & Jerry'' after defeating 33rd seed [[Daffy Duck]] from ''Looney Tunes'' in the final. In doing so, Tom set several records, becoming the first animal, the oldest created (1940), and the lowest seeded character to become the champion of a /co/ tournament.
