Eda is commonly seen by anons of /co/ as the most tolerable character from the show, and is a popular subject of fan art because of her attractive GILF looks (even though she's actually in her 40's and has no grandchildren). She debuted in [[Ms. /co/ 2020]] as the highest seeded ''Owl House'' character (#17), but despite much hype and vocal support for her she was swiftly knocked out of the first round alongside the rest of the series' girls. Despite the early exit, her presence remains on the threads through a few Edafags drawing her supporting other candidates (such as [[Hekapoo]] from ''Star vs.'').
After ''The Owl House'' season 2 was broadcast on June 2021, Eda qualified for [[Ms. /co/ 2021]] as the 29th seed and subsequently became the show's first character to win a match, defeating MILF [[Aunt Cass]] and "underage" [[Monster Girl]] before losing to [[Shego]] in round 3.
