However, the prospect of a dinosaur winning a waifu contest was too good to pass up, and by the second round she gained further infamy by taking down the first seed and tournament favorite Toph Beifong. She then proceeded to defeat humanoid /co/ waifus [[Mavis Dracula|Mavis]], [[Lord Dominator]], and [[Starfire]] in the following rounds. The ''Tyrannosaur's'' rampage eventually stopped in the semi-finals after a very tight loss against eventual champion [[Dr. Mrs. The Monarch|Mrs. Monarch]]; several anons have speculated that had it not been for Adult Swim cancelling ''Venture Bros.'' at the time, Fang would have been the champion. She ultimately placed third with a win over [[Kim Possible]]. By the end of the contest, Fang ended up becomingas the most popular subject of fanart, garnering over 100 entries in the Ms. /co/ booru infrom that contest alone.
