==Tournament history==

Emmy's history in the Ms. /co/ tournaments began as a FOTM girl during the [[Ms. /co/ 2019|2019 edition]], where her eligibility was questioned by several users because of a relative lack of official Emmy-related material at that time. The contest's '''OP''' ultimately decided to allow her in, using "Dominic Cellini art" as the source name because her series didn't have an official title yet. Emmy managed to amass 50 votes in the qualifiers but it wasn't enough for her to advance to the main bracket.

Now with a proper serialized webcomic at her side, Emmy returned in the [[Ms. /co/ 2020|2020 contest]] with high hopes of qualifying. Although ''Random Cartoon'' posted a statement saying they will no longer link to the contest again,<ref>https://www.facebook.com/randomcartoon2/posts/350758002935458 "We've been scolded; we're not posting it again"</ref> the one-two punch of spamming and brigading already dealt severe blows to the robot's campaign, causing Emmyfags to express disappointment and regret over the whole debacle. Many desired to have Emmy be voted out as soon as possible in order to preserve whatever dignity she has left. The fans also didn't want another Spinel-like situation where going further meant that backlash against Emmy will grow bigger --- which for a small fanbase is a death sentence --- because it can potentially destroy any chance of future Emmy-related discussion and fanart on the board.

At the end of round 2, despite the troll's "best" efforts by spamming asterisks, Emmy's sufferings were finally laid to rest as she is mercy killed out of the tournament by Gwenpool. This is one of the few instances in Ms. /co/ history where a girl losing this early is considered a victory for her fans.
