YWNBAP 2025

YWNBAP 2025 _{(You Will Never Be a Playboy/Playgirl; colloquially, the tranny tournament)} was a tournament created in response to the preceding year's inaugural Playboy of /trash/ and Playgirl of /trash/ tournaments. As a number of transgender characters had been barred from the main brackets of each tournament, the suggestion was brought up to host one specifically for these characters. In concurrence with the theme, nonbinary characters would also be eligible, along with characters classified as intersex, futanari, or hermaphrodites.

This inaugural edition of YWNBAP was known for its haphazard operation, being created before the tournament's rogue host had even consulted with any past organizers. As a result, user traffic was unusually low for a 4chan tournament...like, sixteen, if we're being generous. Unlike the Playboy and Playgirl tournaments, YWNBAP 2025 would feature a smaller 32-character bracket, with most nominees making it in by default. During the Qualifier period, nominees were voted on with "Yes" and "No" poll options, reflecting voters' opinions on whether the nominees should qualify or not.

The finale came down to two /v/idya characters: Virtual Boy-tan, a character from /v/'s Console-tan Tuesday threads who is typically depicted as futanari; and Sage, a transgender boy from the video game, Goodbye Volcano High. Despite the former character being repped by the tournament's only prolific drawfag, Sage ultimately won.

The status of future YWNBAP tournaments is currently up in the air, with this year's host considering changing the next YWNBAP to a side tournament of the 2025 Playboy and Playgirl tournaments. It is expected that these tournaments will occur around the end of that year, following the example of their 2024 counterparts. LOL HE FLED LIKE A BITCH NVM

How to nominate?

• To nominate a character, a user must attach an image of that character to their post. Still images are preferred, which should be as on-model as possible, yet still of a lewd nature. Nominating 2 or more characters in a single post is not allowed.
• Each valid nomination must garner at least five (5) replies in order to qualify for the contest.

Eligible Nominees

• Characters from any source are allowed, excluding non-fictional people or fictionalized versions of non-fictional people.
• Per /trash/ rules, loli and shota cannot be nominated.
• Only three characters can be nominated per series/franchise/source.
• Characters must be at least one of the following: nonbinary, transgender, or intersex/futanari/hermaphrodite.
• One-Month Old Clause: Any character debuting from the 1st of the previous month to the start date is ineligible.
