Villains of /co/
| Villains of /co/ | Gallery |
Villains of /co/ is a side tournament that was held on the /tnt/ board on plus4chan. As implied by the board name in its title, this tournament pitted a selection of evil characters primarily from cartoons and comic books against each other. The tournament was hosted solo by recurring host Samaritanon !!0q4n9L7G/iU.
The tournament's Elite Eight would include (in order of original debut) Lex Luthor from DC Comics, Doctor Doom and Kingpin from Marvel Comics, Oogie Boogie from from The Nightmare Before Christmas, Ruber from Quest for Camelot, Yzma from The Emperor's New Groove, Lord Farquaad from Shrek, and Voltar from League of Super Evil. The final round was between Doctor Doom and Ruber, with Doom taking the victory by 56% of the vote. The reception of the Elite Eight and its winner at the time of the tournament was positively received among anons, with them agreeing that Doom was a deserving winner despite a rough run in the tournament. Doom's victory marks the first time a Marvel character won a tournament overall.
Villains of /co/ was preceded by a counterpart known as Heroes of /co/ that ran though late July to early August.
