In what many saw as a nice return to form after the previous two Tag-Team Tournaments, this event went surprisingly smooth from start to finish. From the very beginning, a lot of hype was centered around either The Plunderers (Captain Silver from ''Treasure Planet'' and Ruber from ''Quest for Camelot'') or The Giant Localizers (Kent Mansley and General Rogard from ''The Iron Giant'') having a chance at victory, which led to shock after the two were pitted against each other round one. Despite a couple close calls, The Giant Localizers would end up having a successful run all the way to the finals where they would face off against the Irate Neighbors, consisting of /co/ favorites [[Squidward Tentacles|Squidward]] and [[Carl Brutananadilewski|Carl]] (from ''SpongeBob'' and ''ATHF'' respectively). Despite praise toward both teams, most ended up siding with the Localizers for their team synergy and roleplaying posts throughout the tournament. They would win in a decisive victory and go on to become the fifth champions of Tag-Team.
