Rabbit (Winnie the Pooh)
Deep in the Hundred Acre Woods, where Christoper Robin plays, you'll find many of his animal friends, none more exceptional than one Winnie the Pooh. Except, this article's not about that silly old bear...
Rabbit is a fictional character from the Winnie the Pooh series of books by A. A. Milne, as well as the Disney animated franchise based on those books.
Tournament
Mr. /co/lympus
Rabbit made his debut in the 2025 competition, much to the shock of all in attendance. Sure, the /co/ board was amicable to Pooh Bear and his friends, but even among the denizens of the Hundred Acre Wood, Rabbit was not exactly top of mind when it came to characters that voters were expecting to qualify for the tourney. He had never got nearly enough votes needed to get in, and that's whenever he was actually nominated. So, imagine everyone's surprise when the Qualifier results were posted, and Rabbit had 96 votes, and the 19th seed in the bracket, well above more popular characters such as Optimus Prime and The Monarch! Though most were stupefied by the development, some smarter-than-average types formed a theory:
See, there had been a bit of controversy in the tournament's first day or two, as the hosts seemed to have some confusion about an exception to the "Character Limit" rule, and started lumping several different series and characters under a generic Disney umbrella, as opposed to just Disney core universe characters, such as Donald Duck and Goofy. This lead some to speculate that most of the voters that intended to vote for Oswald the Lucky Rabbit accidentally put in a vote for a different long-eared fellow.
At the end of the day, it was no harm, no foul (especially when Oswald also qualified). Good laughs were had by all, memes and OC were made depicting a mini-rivalry between Rabbit and Oswald, and after Rabbit lost in Round 1 to Sam of the Freelance Police, everyone thought that was the end of that, and moved on with the tournament.
Then came the third thread of Round 4. Psyanon came round looking for candidates for his Literally Who Award, and many an anon elected Rabbit. A decent candidate for sure, as his qualification was no doubt a fluke. But some nosy-parkers started snooping, and something wasn't adding up: on the raw qualifier results, Rabbit only got 16 votes. This caused many to do double takes and question everything. Was it rigging? Human error? Dyslexia?
Then, one anon came to a realization: Oswald had gotten 80 votes, and 96 - 80 = 16! Soon, it became clear what had happened; the counting bot used to gather qualifier results had combined Oswald's votes with Rabbit's, giving him such a high count! The hosts came out and admitted, this was indeed what happened, but by the time they noticed, it was too late to change it.
