In the [[Mr. /co/lympus 2020|2020]] contest, Megamind rose to a career-best #5 seed and reached the last 16 by winning his rematch against Zuko, but was eliminated afterwards by a lowly-seeded [[Hugh Neutron]]. He also became infamous that year for being one of the subjects of a smut fanfic prompted from a "cursed trips" comment, which involved the supervillain "exploring" inside round 2 opponent [[Jon Arbuckle]] using none other than his "big, blue, bulbous cranium".

The supervillain returned in [[Mr. /co/lympus 2021]] as a #19 seeded contestant, the same bracket as #3 seed Jon. He faced ''South Park's'' [[Kenny McCormick]], but n a surprising twist of fate, the match ended with Megamind ~~falling victim~~ to Kenny instead as he was eliminated by only two votes, one of the closest in the tournament.
