'''Incidental 87’s Mother''' is a character from the 1999 Nickelodeon series ''SpongeBob SquarePants'', who first appeared in the season 3 episode "Chocolate With Nuts". In the episode, [[Spongebob]] and [[Patrick Star|Patrick]] are selling chocolate bars. They visit a house inhabited by an elderly fish named [[Incidental 87]] (named "Mary" in the episode) and her mother, who appears as an extremely old and shriveled fish who has poor hearing. The mother buys a chocolate bar from the duo because of their claim that "rubbing chocolate on the skin makes you live forever", much to the daughter's chagrin. At the end of the episode, Incidental 87 and her mother are seen having a double date with Spongebob and Patrick after the latter duo profit off their chocolate sales.
The character became notable in [[Ms. /co/ 2020]] for being the only contestant (male or female) to not get a single vote in the qualifier round, but this has been disputed. In addition to getting five supports during nominations, there was campaigning for the character during voting, as she comes from what many consider the best episode of a significantly popular series, and several anons said they voted for every character in the qualifier poll. If it was a glitch, typo or she actually got the zero votes that were shown might never be known. In 2023 she was finally joined by Tak Tak who received zero qualifier votes, but on the technicality of still being included on the sheets after his early removal from the form.
Incidental 87's mother would finally receive votes in the [[Ms. /co/ 2021|following year]]. While generally not expected to make it to the main bracket, she managed to score 61 votes in the qualifier poll, putting her in 221st out of 1197 nominees. In [[Ms. /co/ 2022]] she received
