Emperor of /his/ 2025 is the third installment of the titular "tourney autism" event, held yearly on 4chan's /his/tory and Humanities board. Like previous installments, this tournament was hosted by ANEgroid !!jeAQJOGGale[a 1], running from October 2, 2025 to October 11, 2025. Unlike previous editions, the bracket was expanded from 64 participants to a whopping 128. As with the previous two tournaments, all genders/sexes were allowed to compete, in spite of the Emperor title.
A wide assortment of historical figures entered the bracket, but out of these 128 contestants, a surprising victor emerged: an American stunt performer who went by the name Evel Knievel. Knievel clutched a close victory over the famed English pirate known best as Blackbeard, winning by a score of 32-29. The (in)famous Soviet leader Joseph Stalin secured the Bronze Medal, beating British blues musician "Long John" Baldry by a score of 41-20. The remainder of this year's Elite Eight comprised of a British Royal Navy officer, explorer, and cartographer; a British Army officer, archaeologist, diplomat, and writer; the physically disabled 32nd president of the United States; and an animator and director from the golden age of American animation.
Following the results of the final poll, ANEgroid resolved to introduce a Qualifiers round in future editions, on the condition that the full number of contestants is reached within a given time limit. In addition, it was voted to keep the newly enlarged 128-person bracket in future editions. Finally, voters chose to retain the then-current guideline of accepting anyone who is better known for things before the last 25 years, rather than more recent events. However, in a variation of the FOTM Clause found in other tournaments, people who had died within the past year of a particular edition would no longer be eligible for that edition.
Rules
As in previous editions, ANEgroid intended for this event to have a more relaxed set of rules than other tournaments.
From the OP post of the Nominations thread:
>How do I enter my historical character?
Give the name of the individual accompanied with an image.
>Who are eligible?
Any historical or mythological individual. People who are still alive or died in the past 25 years must have been historically significant in some regard before the last 25 years.
>Nominations
The nominations shall run until 64 historical characters have been nominated, or 128 if there's a sudden upsurge of nominations. Given the speed of this board, the nominations will likely last two to three days.
>Seeding
The seed order is given by the last two digits of the post. Further sorting is given by nomination order.
>Voting

Main Bracket
This year, 128 historical figures were nominated. The order of seeding is determined by the last two digits of each nomination's respective post. If further sorting is needed, that will be supplemented with the order of nomination.
As in previous years, all rounds last one day each. Each round begins and ends at approximately 19:00 UTC. (You) must vote for all matches. If a match ends in a tie, both entrants advance to the next round.
