Eda is commonly seen by anons of /co/ as the most tolerable character from the show, and is a popular subject of fan art because of her attractive GILF looks (even though she's actually in her 40's and has no grandchildren). She debuted in [[Ms. /co/ 2020]] to much hype and vocal support, becoming the highest seeded ''Owl House'' character (#17) in the process. But like the rest of the series' girls, she was swiftly knocked out of the first round. Despite the early exit, her presence remains on the threads through a few Edafags drawing her supporting other candidates (such as [[Hekapoo]] from ''Star vs.'').
After ''The Owl House'' season 2 was broadcast on June 2021, Eda qualified for [[Ms. /co/ 2021]] as the 29th seed and subsequently became the show's first character to win a match, defeating MILF [[Aunt Cass]] and "underage" [[Monster Girl]] before losing to [[Shego]] in round 3. The witch's return in [[Ms. /co/ 2022|2022]] saw a repeat of 2020, as, despite OC and support, she was knocked out Round 1 by [[Shirley]].
