Captain Amelia wasn't that extraordinary of a contestants in the early years aside from the fact that she's one of the female reps that was nominated and qualified for the first main-line tournament for /co/.
In [[Ms. /co/ 2022]] she'd have a very successful run with a well received campaign under her name with a lot of high quality art and OC be made for her. Although, if someone is familiar with that years Ms. /co/, some might remember that furries were allegedly rigged to hell and back which prompted for at the time host, {{Host|name=NightShiftAnon|trip=!!9A2duD1C25+}}, to take control and out the characters that which were mostly furries. Amelia was grouped with these furries and received some spite, but {{Host|name=NightShiftAnon|trip=!!9A2duD1C25+}} did elaborate that Amelia alongside Fang were one of the few "anthro" characters which seemed to not be rigged from the furry mob. With the anti-furry mob at her back, she'd sadly but heroically lose to silent powerhouse that was [[Chel]].
