In 2021 Battler faced hentai protagonist Rance in round 1, which gained infamy when a user applied the "sacred ointment" to a printed picture of him, leading to yet another shameful defeat. Inspired by Battler's performance, the tributes returned with a vengeance several days later when multiple anons decided to "anoint" the two finalists with their own "ointments" as well.

Battler's best performance so far has been in King of /v/ 2022, where his hype carried him through the first round against GTA's Niko Bellic, as well as round two in a matchup against the similarly hyped up Spamton. Just when it seemed like Battler might break his jobber status, however, he fell short of the 40 homeruns required to defeat elder god of baseball Christopher Robin, losing by 9 votes in an intense matchup that saw back and forth OC from both sides.
Battler's best main tournament performance so far has been in King of /v/ 2022, where his hype carried him through the first round against GTA's Niko Bellic, as well as round two in a matchup against the similarly hyped up Spamton. Just when it seemed like Battler might break his jobber status, however, he fell short of the 40 homeruns required to defeat elder god of baseball Christopher Robin, losing by 9 votes in an intense matchup that saw back and forth OC from both sides.

King of /v/ 2023 was another eventful year for Battler. Before the tournament began some speculated about whether or not Battler would get spitevoted out early due to some blaming his supporters for voting for the Loser's Bracket after his infamous loss to Christopher Robin the year prior, resulting in the widely loathed Losers Finals and Grand Finals shitshow of Queen 2023. Nevertheless Battler was able to easily defeat The Hunter, where he would then meet his next opponent Miles Edgeworth. For this match Battlerfags banded together to lead a raid on Club Penguin where they would shout out support for their pick and eventually managing to tip the iceberg, but ultimately Battler would notoriously end up jobbing by >1 fucking vote (technically two; edgeworth would have still won the tiebreaker due to higher seed) much to the delight of his detractors.

But using the Loser's Bracket that he had become so heavily associated with, Battler was able to claw his way back into the spotlight. This involved his long awaited match against Agent 47, however said match ended up as something of a whiff with many declaring it as illegitimate due to the match itself taking place in the Loser's Bracket and in a 4-way. Nonetheless Battler would win the 4-way and go onto win matches until the Finals in one last 4-way struggle. Here he would become a controversial figure as Battler supporters became one of the key proponents in the vote for a grand finals match/crown steal, causing entire threads in the Finals to be consumed by shitflinging between Battler supporters pushing for his chance at the crown steal (and falseflaggers, who at some point anons couldn't tell the difference between) and those trying to prevent a repeat of Queen's Grand Finals. In the end the Grand Finals was voted against, however Battler's detractors were too divided among the other three candidates to be able to stop him, resulting in Battler claiming 9th place and fittingly becoming the King of Jobbers for the year.
